Genesis 31
As we know, every sin has at least one consequence. In Genesis 31, we walk through Jacob’s journey of consequences.
HAYLEY’S BIBLE BENDER:
Without giving any of the story away, Jacob has a tendency to add work to God’s promises. Susan says it this way, “Sometimes we make God’s plans more complicated than necessary. So our note from this passage or our takeaway should be to remember that human schemes to accomplish God’s promises just makes the process messy.”
I tend to over-plan and over-step when I need to remember that God is control, not me. I don’t have to have a solution for every possibility since he has it handled for me.
