Numbers 1 and 2 start the story of how God faithfully led Israel through the wilderness despite their rebellion.

In Numbers 3-4, God is going to command the Levites and give the detail of another layer of protection around the tabernacle.

Numbers 5 and 6 are the passages before the nation makes it way to the promised land. It covers impurity (again) and they receive a blessing.

Numbers 7 and 8 shows the tribes presenting gifts to God in gratitude for his blessing. God also connects the tabernacle lamps and Levites.

In Numbers 9 and 10, after the Aaronic blessing and the tribal parade, the nation of Israel is going to experience its second Passover.

In Numbers 10, the Israelites celebrated with their second Passover. In Numbers 11 and 12, we find the Israelites are not happy campers.

In these Numbers 13 and 14, a generation of people lose the opportunity of a lifetime and a lifetime of opportunity.

In Numbers 15, we hear some offerings to remind the Israelites of how to be holy. In Numbers 16, Moses faces more mutiny from the people.

In Numbers 17, we see God verify Aaron as his choice for High Priest for the 3rd and final time. He chooses to use a staff to do so.

Chapter 19 focuses on the priests with ritual instruction from cleansing from the impurity of death, aka a red heifer and cleansing water.

In this episode, we cover Numbers 21. It's turning point in the wilderness wanderings for Israel. They get some victories under their belt.

In Numbers 22, Israel is going to camp at Moab and we get the story of King Balak, seer Balaam, and, yes, a talking donkey.

Numbers 24 and 25 bring many oracles regarding the nation of Israel. Unfortunately, Israel responds by being seduced by enemy nations.

Numbers 26 covers the second census of Israel. The census gave a clear military count and the number determined tribal property.

In Numbers 27, 28, and 29, Zelphehad's daughters take a stand, Moses sees the Promised Land, and God's succession plan is revealed.

Numbers 30 and 31 covers vows revenge. Vows from people to God and Midianite revenge for their part in Israelite's worship derailment.

In Numbers 32 + 33, Moses starts focusing on land division. These chapters lay the foundation for understanding Israel's frustrating future.

In Numbers 34, 35, and 36, Moses wraps up the rules God has for the Israelites once in the Promised Land. It covers marriage and murder.
